I don’t even know how this happens to a roof panel
Should I be able to fiberglass this (it’s plastic) or am I gonna have to find a replacement? Because finding a replacement might be hard

This should work in the meantime:

is It cracked all the way through? If not you’ll just want plastic repair filler and a whole lot of sanding

If that’s actually successfully repaired, I’d like to see it.

It’s not all the way through. Probably 1/16th of an inch?

yeah you might be alright with sanding and bogging then. Looks like it’s not regular plastic, SMC so it’s got fibre running through it.
$700 gets you a new unpainted one from 6LE though. Good luck though, from what I’ve read the later model ones roofs go bad so all the junkyard ones get snapped up quickly.

Miata hardtop material! SMC is a bitch to fix if it cracks all the way through.

Nope. “Composite” roof panel.
